Well the first weekend in March took us to Michigan to pick up Krack. White stuff started falling in Kentucky and continued till our stop in Ohio. We woke to more white stuff, but roads were clear, the further north we went the whiter it became. Our final stop was in Auburn Hills, the tournament would be in Davisdurg. Auburn Hills, nice business area and a University, while Davisburg a small township. We arrived early, so I did walking in an Outlet Mall and later that evening we met in Davisburg to have mat time. Krack was a little excited to see us, but he's always excited to see people.
Davisburg was beautiful in the snow, I think people at the tournament were tired of me saying how pretty it was. Snow covered driveways, and all the "Christmas Trees" Krack was amazing at his second tournament, he ran for Angie for the first few races so I could watch, and then I got to run him. Running in the 3.7's - Awesome with a couple of 3.6's thrown in!!! Krack ran on Team Springloaded!
By the time we left the pretty snow wasn't so pretty, it was beginning to melt. And my favorite way to end a trip = Uneventful on the road. (but I still have a snow thing on my list, I want to try snow skiing)
March brought on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. While we don't do much of the Rodeo thing at work anymore we always try and take whatever grandkids that are available to the Livestock Show and carnival. This year it was Wyatt. We watched chicks hatch, cows be milked, petted animals, looked at tractors and road ponies. And COTTEN CANDY!!
St. Patrick's Day, I fixed my usual fair. Next year I make my own corn beef! Easter came around and we celebrated with family on Good Friday with a Fish Fry!
Pretty much, that was March 2016 (oh and I found a baby turtle at work and released him in our pond, Sam wouldn't let me keep him - I also started moving rock from the pool area)
