Ginger Pear Marmalade

Totally off the wall project all because someone at work had bags of pears....So I brought home pears and looked up a recipe that I had all the ingredients for. Ginger Pear Marmalade...so I started canning at 8pm! Have no idea what it will taste like, but I made it!   And I cleaned up the sticky mess I made!

I should also mention this is only the second thing I have canned, the other being pickled okra and that was easy.

Pool Temp

Everyone is focused on temps these days!  Like right now at 4:29 pm it's only 93, but the heat index is 114!   Don't have my pool thermometer anyone, Imp thought the floating duck thermometer was a fetch toy, so I improvised.  The pool temp at about 6:30 pm yesterday was 93!
