Last of Ike

Well it looked bigger in person, all those little limbs, hid the big tree trunks! Now for the adjuster to come and look at the roof, ceilings and fence. Mom, has her quotes, and has had the adjuster out, so it's wait and see what they will come thru with. But Ike is done here and I'm not talking about him ANYMORE!

It's on to bigger and better things! We're off to Amsterdam, and Rotterdam this Friday, more stamps in my passport! So I'll have more interesting pictures than downed trees and bonfires. Sam did set up another couch for the turtles, so they have a complete living room set now. I'm amazed at myself, I love watching the bass jump to catch dragon flies, and the giant egrets catching their dinner. On next years list is a fountain, or aerator for the pond.

I need to send out invitations for friends to come over, my excuse is I'm waiting until I finish decorating, at the rate I'm going (because I'm really trying to do it right), I'll have antiques before anyone can come over!

Slow Day

See no pictures of me, cause I'm driving the tractor! This is "the squealer" brand bush hog. I mowed the east field using it yesterday. I'm pretty sure I like the Zero turn much better. So more tree pick up, and mowing yesterday, seems to be all I talk about but that's what going on.

This weekend is a weekend off from working in the field, off to Hutto for flyball, so it'll be a nice change of pace.

For those of you that know Chloe, she's hanging in there, but the past week she has been slower, and she's gone to eating very little, it has become a major challege to get her to eat, and we're not talking dog food, or raw diet, we're talking steak, eggs, grilled chicken, what ever she will eat, we fix. It really sucks, because if you know Chloe you know one of the sweetest dogs in the world. Sami, Missy, Meg, Dot I miss you all.
