Hummmmmmmmm

Do Hummingbirds Hum because they don't know the words? I know I'm not funny, and I'm accused of not having a sense of humor...but I try...

This girl, and I say girl because she isn't very colorful has been coming around every morning about 7am and I finally laid the camera out so I was ready for her! I think this is a Black-Chinned Hummingbird.

Have you ever seen a Hummingbird sit?

Happy Frogs

In the last 3 days we have received 3.02" of rain!! In the last 3 months we got 1.5".

I knew the pond was dry, but I didn't realize how quiet it had become! Well I noticed last night when I heard the noise. Wow! Happy Frogs having a party in the pond! They must have re-hydrated their voices, because they were all singing. Hope you can hear it, turn up the sound! (it was dark so you won't be seeing anything)
