OH MY! THE BIRDS!

Ok, not Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds...

I've been home most of the month of January, but I'm back at work. A tooth problem is no fun at all!

Yesterday while I was napping TC and I heard a noise outside the window, so we checked it out and found BLUE BIRDS! Eastern Blue Birds to be exact, one was excited to see it's reflection in the window (guy bird), so I grab the new camera and he even stayed around for posing! He wasn't the only one, the nearby tree had several. We had seen young Blue Birds last year, but they were not this brilliant blue color.

When I was going back in the house, I saw the Red Wing Blackbird on top of a tree.

Earlier in the week when I felt like getting up, a grabbed a shot of an American Robin, we've had these around since the last week of December.

Really, I'm getting weirder aren't I? It's not just the pain meds. As soon as I can operate machinery I'm going to make bird houses.
