Trees, Trees what kind of Trees?

What kind of trees to plant? How much "Chill" time do they need, do they need a friend to pollinate, or are they loners? Only a few of the questions you need to ask.

So based on our area, we're looking at pears, Barlett, and Acres Home those do well here, and they share their pollen. Plums also do well, and there are 4 varieties of those to chose from. Those will planted in the East Paddock. You'll be able to see the beginning's of an orchard from the kitchen window.
We might plant a couple of pecan trees, (under discussion).
Depending on the budget outcome I think we are adding lemon to the South side next to the house.

Also worked in the budget is pool side, I'm moving the yucky Sago Palms (to another location), and this other plant Fountain Grass...they doing nothing for that area. More tropical flowering plants to be added.

The herb and veg garden are in the planning stages. Can't wait for Spring time!!!

This is a great website, Urban Harvest

And this is an awesome local nursery Maas
