Chloe Belle 02/14/1999 - 10/30/2008

There are sweet dogs, and then there is a Chloe. Chloe could wag her tail to where she would bend in two, my Mom was always afraid she was going to hurt her back, and one of the girls at the office named her Mae West. She could also wake you with her tail thumping against the mattress.
When Chloe came in to rescue she was about the lenght of Sam's forearm, with ears almost the same size. She learned silly tricks, and was famous for her "what do working girls do". She was also a flyball dog, with the title of FLYBALL DOG GRAND CHAMPION, she wasn't the fastest but she was fun to run. She would change her box turn depending on which lane she was in so she could see the other dog, box loaders talked of her tail which looked like she was using an rutter. She was the best. When she didn't run well in January 08, it was a sign that something wasn't right.
She was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She lost her battle while we were out of town and I didn't get to say good bye the way I wanted to. My Mom and friend Kirk told her good bye for me. I thought she would be ok until we returned but she just couldn't fight anymore.
